Why Dream Designs? Over and over the phrase we hear most often as people marvel at these amazing historic structures turned into homes is “this is my dream home.” Well, now your DREAM home can become YOUR home. All of our original custom designed floor plans are based on authentic 1800s log cabin structures we have recovered and restored over the years. Historic exteriors are blended with modern interior floor plans to create homes that will serve us for today and tomorrow, with all of the modern amenities needed for living today. Select your favorite plan from our Dream Design series and you have the option of purchasing the plan and the “Cabin Kit” and have Mark Bowe and the crew of DIY Netowrk’s Barnwood Builders assemble your cabin frame on your site. All logs and timbers are authentic reclaimed materials, boasting a time worn patina that is perfect for these custom builds.

The Party Barn
With the ever-growing popularity of barns and timber frames as the venue for elegant weddings and wonderful celebrations, we think that everyone should have their own timber frame pavilion. Based on an original 1800s 30’ by 60’ timber frame barn, our Party Barn plan has ample room for an outdoor living room complete with giant fireplace, a dance floor, and even room to host your own band party. With options for a log cabin structure inside the timber frame to house bathrooms and recreation space, the possibilities for fun are endless.
